ENVIRONMENTAL INSURANCE CLAIMS MANAGEMENT AND MITIGATION

Environmental insurance claims are often complex.  The responsible party is not always clear and the proposed remedial measures are often times not in the best interest of the insured or carrier.  Many sites receive remedial measures which are not needed, are not appropriate for the site, or incorporate additional upgrades that may not be covered by the policy.  With both adjuster experience and engineering experience, EE can effectively evaluate and manage work proposed as a result of an environmental claim to mitigate the cost associated with site specific remedial measures.

ENVIRONMENTAL AUDITS FOR INSURANCE COMPANIES

The best way to determine the relative risk associated with any environmental policy is to determine if the assumed risk is accurate.  EE will perform an environmental audit for an existing policy or a policy that is currently being written to determine if the current or proposed environmental policy has accurately outlined the entire risk of a claim.

ENVIRONMENTAL AUDITS FOR INDUSTRY

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.  Preventing an environmental accident from occurring is exponentially less expensive than the cost associated with a clean up, remediation, or the fines levied by state and federal regulatory agencies for a spill or release of hazardous materials.  Let EE evaluate your facility or construction site to determine if any potential hazards exist, if all processes and procedures are currently in compliance with local and federal regulations, and if any changes may be made to current procedures to reduce the risk of a spill, release, or other potential violation.
